In his Race 2 crash at the Donington Park BSB last weekend, Ryan Vickers suffered a broken collarbone.
Vickers confirmed the injury via social media, but also assured that he will not need surgery to fix it.

Vickers’ post reads: “Thanks to everyone for your messages and well wishes. I've not been able to go through my phone much due to being at the hospital and in a lot of pain.
“But we have finally got some results and it is only my left collarbone that is fractured. I have spoken to the surgeon today and they have confirmed I will NOT need surgery as it is so well lined up that it should heal fast on its own.
“I am really happy about this as we were unsure of my recovery time. So now, it's a few weeks of rest and recovery, putting myself in the best place possible to return to racing.
“I just want to say a massive thank you to the OMG Racing Yamaha team for their incredible support and understanding following my injury. I also want to give a big shout-out to the medical staff and marshals at Donington Park for their swift response and getting me to the hospital promptly.
“I have a few weeks to focus on my recovery and I will keep you posted! Thanks again guys, you've been mega.”
Vickers, who is now eighth in the riders’ standings and 57 points behind championship leader Glenn Irwin, will have until 14-16 June to recover before the next round of the series at Knockhill.
