Signed Riders:

Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP:
The Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP have confirmed their Moto2 rider line-up for the 2026 Moto2 World Championship, and will retain both of their current riders.
Manuel Gonzalez, who led the majority of the Championship and is still in the title fight, will remain in the intermediate class with the German squad for another season.
Senna Agius will remain alongside Gonzalez. The Australian rider will enter his third full season in the Moto2 World Championship in 2026, which will also be his third year with IntactGP.

ITALJET Gresini Moto2:
The ITALJET Gresini Moto2 squad will have an all-new rider line-up for the 2026 season as both Albert Arenas and Darryn Binder will leave the Italian team.
Alonso Lopez will end his four-year partnership with the SpeedRS Team at the conclusion of the 2025 season and will move across to Gresini's Moto2 squad, and will switch to Kalex machinery.
After being dropped from the Moto2 World Championship midway through the 2025 season by MSi Racing, Sergio Garcia will be back on the grid in 2026 as he has signed with Gresini.

CFMoto Aspar Team:
After fielding an all-rookie rider line-up for the 2025 season, the CFMoto Aspar Team will continue with the same riders in the 2026 Moto2 World Championship.
David Alonso came into the Moto2 World Championship as the 2024 Moto3 World Champion. The Colombian rider has won a race and featured on three further podiums in his rookie season, and will remain with Aspar in 2026.
Daniel Holgado joined the Aspar Team for the 2025 season after competing with Red Bull KTM Tech3 in Moto3, and the Spaniard has outperformed his teammate during their rookie Moto2 seasons. With two wins and two further podiums to his name, Holgado will continue with Aspar for a second season.

OnlyFans American Racing:
The OnlyFans American Racing Team announce a change to their 2026 Moto2 rider line-up at the Portuguese Grand Prix.
American rider Joe Roberts will head into his fifth season with the American Racing Team in 2026, which will be his ninth season in the Moto2 World Championship. Roberts has had an underwhelming 2025 season, but has recorded a race win during the season.
After initially signing a deal to keep Marcos Ramirez in the American Racing Team for 2026, the team have decided to part ways with the Spaniard. Instead, they have decided to sign Filip Salac for next year after he was not retained by Marc VDS.

Italtrans Racing Team:
At the San Marino Grand Prix, the Italtrans Racing Team completed their 2026 Moto2 rider line-up after weeks of speculation.
It was already expected that Adrian Huertas would remain with the Italian team for a second season after making his debut in the Grand Prix paddock with the team in 2025, but that was confirmed at Misano by the team.
However, alongside Huertas for 2026 will be fellow Spaniard, Daniel Muñoz, as Diogo Moreira is moving to MotoGP. Munoz has been riding for the Red Bull KTM Ajo squad as a replacement rider since the Austrian Grand Prix, but will be on the 2026 grid full-time.

SpeedRS Team:
The SpeedRS Team have retained a rider from their 2025 Moto2 line-up but will also field a rookie in the 2026 Moto2 World Championship.
Celestino Vietti will enter his sixth season in Moto2 next year and will also compete in his second season for the SpeedRS Team. The Italian rider has been inconsistent in 2025, but has stood on two podiums for the team.
The first confirmed rookie on the 2026 Moto2 grid was Luca Lunetta, who will step up to the intermediate class after two full seasons in the Moto3 World Championship. The Italian rider has struggled with injuries in 2025 but has won a race and featured on two further podiums this season.

MSi Racing Team:
At the San Marino Grand Prix, the MSi Racing Team announced their Moto2 rider line-up for the 2026 World Championship, which sees them retain a rider and promote a rookie from their Moto3 squad.
After improving throughout his rookie Moto2 season in 2025, Ivan Ortola will remain with the Spanish squad for a second season. Ortola recorded a best result of sixth place twice before signing a contract renewal with the team.
Angel Piqueras debuted with the MSi Racing Team in Moto3 in 2025. After a year with the squad, he will make his way into their Moto2 team. The Spaniard has challenged for the Moto3 title throughout the 2025 season and won four Moto3 races this season.

ELF Marc VDS Racing Team:
The ELF Marc VDS Racing Team has confirmed their riders for the 2026 Moto2 World Championship, and they will have an all-new rider line-up.
It has been announced that Aron Canet will join the Belgian squad on a multi-year deal after spending two seasons with Fantic Racing. The Spaniard will reportedly spend a season in Moto2 with Marc VDS before moving across to World Superbikes in 2027.
Alongside Canet for the 2026 Moto2 World Championship is Turkish rider Deniz Oncu. He will make his debut on a Boscoscuro machine after missing nearly half of the 2025 season.

Red Bull KTM Ajo:
Red Bull KTM Ajo has confirmed its rider line-up for the 2026 Moto2 World Championship and will field two young riders.
It is already known that Collin Veijer will remain with the Finnish team as he originally joined them on a two-year deal ahead of his rookie Moto2 season in 2025. The Dutch rider had a difficult start to life in Moto2 but has featured inside the top ten on seven occasions.
The 2025 Moto3 World Champion will make his way into the intermediate class next year after winning ten races and featuring on four further podiums.

Fantic Racing:
The Fantic Racing squad announced one of their riders for the 2026 Moto2 season at the San Marino Grand Prix.
After making a surprise move to the Italian team at the start of the 2025 season, Barry Baltus will remain with Fantic Racing for a second year. During the 20 Grands Prix he has competed in with the team, he has achieved seven podiums, including one last weekend in Malaysia.

RW-Idrofoglia Racing:
Dutch team, RW-Idrofoglia Racing, confirmed their second rider at the Portuguese Grand Prix, after previously announcing Ayumu Sasaki.
It has been confirmed that Ayumu Sasaki will remain with RW-Idrofoglia Racing for a second season after originally signing for the team on a two-year deal. The Japanese rider will head into his third Moto2 season in 2026 and will hope for a breakthrough year after two difficult seasons in 2024 and 2025.
Filip Salac had signed a deal to join RW Racing, but after a change in management, his deal was not honoured. Instead, Zonta van den Goorbergh will remain with the Dutch team for a sixth season.

IDEMITSU Honda Team Asia:
It has been confirmed by the Honda Team Asia squad that they will keep a rider from their 2025 squad and promote a rookie for 2026.
Mario Aji will remain with the team in the intermediate class for a third season. The 2025 season has been difficult for the 21-year-old as he has only scored points on two occasions and missed ten Grands Prix due to injuries.
On the other side of the garage will be the Japanese rookie, Taiyo Furusato. After winning the Malaysian Grand Prix in Moto3, it was announced that he would make the step up to Moto2 in 2026.
Rumoured Riders:

Fantic Racing:
The Fantic Racing squad have announced one of their riders for the 2026 season, and their second rider has been highly rumoured throughout the last few weeks.
With Aron Canet on his way out, the team appear to have settled on Tony Arbolino as their desired replacement. The Italian has underperformed with the BLU CRU Pramac Yamaha Moto2 Team in 2025 and is desperate to return to the Kalex chassis in 2026.

BLU CRU Pramac Yamaha Moto2 Team:
The BLU CRU Pramac Yamaha Moto2 Team has not announced either of their riders for the 2026 Moto2 season, but one rider is expected to stay, and a new rider is expected to arrive.
It is believed that Izan Guevara will stay with the Pramac Yamaha Moto2 Team for a second season after debuting with them in 2025. The Spaniard will head into his fourth season in the Moto2 World Championship after winning the Moto3 title in 2022.
There have been several rumours surrounding the second Pramac Yamaha Moto2 Team, with Alberto Fernandez's name being thrown around for next season.

KLINT Forward Racing:
There is little known about the Forward Racing squad's plans for the 2026 Moto2 World Championship, but they are now expected to retain the same line-up.
Alex Escrig has been a part of the Forward Racing squad for the last three seasons, and appears set to remain with the squad for a fourth year.
Despite not scoring a point in the 2025 Moto2 World Championship, Jorge Navarro is expected to remain with the Forward Racing squad for a second full season.
