The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya will host the 2024 MotoGP season finale after the cancellation of the Valencian Grand Prix.
The final round of the 2024 MotoGP World Championship will take place at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
MotoGP officials have confirmed that the race will take place in Catalunya, as was expected after Carlos Ezpeleta mentioned the possibility at the Malaysian Grand Prix. The race will take place on 15-17 November, the same dates that the Valencian Grand Prix would have been.
The Valencian Grand Prix was cancelled due to deadly flooding in the area last week. However, further bad weather has impacted Spain's east coast, with Barcelona experiencing flooding throughout the week.
The 2024 MotoGP title will be decided at this unnamed final round with Jorge Martin and Francesco Bagnaia still locked in a fight for the Championship.
Less is at stake in Moto2 and Moto3 as both the middleweight and lightweight titles have been decided. Japan's Ai Ogura claimed the Moto2 title in Thailand, and David Alonso was crowned Moto3 World Champion back in Japan.
