After only 13 races Bo Bendsneyder has been forced out of the Preicanos Racing Team.
Before beginning the Misano Grand Prix Bo Bendsneyder told Ziggo Sport that this would be his last Grand Prix for the foreseeable future. Bendsneyder explained that the Preicanos Racing Team had decided to 'throw him out' of the team immediately after the Misano Grand Prix.
On the starting grid, Bendsneyder said: "It will be a special day. It will be my last race in Moto2. After Aragon I was thrown out. Unfairly, but we are going to make the most of it. I am happy with where we have come, so it will be a special race."
The team has yet to comment on the matter or officially confirm Bendsneyder's departure. However, Bendsneyder's departure still comes as a surprise to fans and the rider himself.
Bendsneyder's best result this season was 13th place, the same as his rookie teammate Jaume Masia. It is unknown who will replace Bendsneyder in the Preicanos Racing Team, but it will most likely be Daniel Munoz.
