Red Bull KTM’s Brad Binder is not settling for points scores in his almost-inevitable wrapping up of the Moto3 world championship and he will be going all out for wins, starting at this weekend’s Misano MotoGP round.
The South African has a whopping 86-point lead over Jorge Navarro after winning four races this year and standing on a podium a further five times. In fact, he has only been off the podium twice this year in the races he has finished.
“Although we have a significant lead in the overall standings, our goal remains the same: To try to win every race. We need to continue with the same mentality and aspire to the best results,” said Binder.
The Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli suits me fairly well. This year I also did a test there with very good results; the bike worked very well, so we will use the data from the laps we put in there. We must work in the same way as at the last few Grands Prix.”
