The entry list for FIM MiniGP World Final at Valencia next month has been released, with six British and Irish riders set to compete.
The 30-strong list comprises the top three riders from each of the 10 Series that began in 2021 – Alpe Adria, France, Ireland, Italy, Malaysia, the Netherlands, North America, Portugal, Spain and the UK.
13-year-old Harley McCabe and 10 year-olds Blake Wilson and Joshua Williams will represent the United Kingdom while 14-year-olds Brian Hamilton and Finnan Wherity head the Irish contingent alsongsde 12-year-old Josh O’Brien. Petronas SRT riders Jake Dixon and John McPhee are 2021’s respective UK and Irish ambassadors for the series.
The finalists will all compete in Valencia for the overall crown, but split into different groups for Free Practice, Qualifying and five races.
After briefings and preparation on Tuesday, track action will begin on Wednesday with three groupings for Free Practice and Qualifying. The races to decide the overall 2021 Champion will then take place on the Thursday ahead of the MotoGP season finale - Gran Premio MOTUL de la Comunitat Valenciana.
