Reposol Honda's Dani Pedrosa completed just 11 laps of testing at Brno today and then called it a day, saying the whole thing was pointless as his tyres weren't working.
The Spaniard, who was among the most vocal in his criticism of Michelin after Sunday's debacle, said:
"We tried some different front tyres that Michelin brought here for this test, but we finished after some laps because we couldn't find any improvement.
"We tested the tyres with my current race bike, there was no point using the machine with the pneumatic-valve engine because the tyres weren’t working well enough. We have rescheduled this test at Misano, on the Monday after the San Marino GP.”
Pedrosa's lap times were two seconds off Valentino Rossi's race tyre times (see below). Casey Stoner went quickest and Ducati maintain it was on a race tyre, but he was a second quicker than Rossi...
