Britain’s Cal Crutchlow has renewed his agreement with Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP to remain as the outfit’s factory test rider.
The three-time MotoGP race winner confirmed the news he was staying for a further two years after the close of Monday’s initial shakedown action at Sepang International Circuit.
“I’m happy to be spending the next two years with the Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP team as their Official Test Rider again,” Crutchlow said.
“I think it makes sense for all parties involved to continue our good working relationship from last year. I will again put 100% into it.”
Crutchlow has three days of testing in Malaysia ahead of this weekend’s official MotoGP test which will see the full 2022 grid in action across February 5th and 6th.
