Aspar Aprilia MotoGP star Randy De Puniet will be back on testing duty with Suzuki at Motegi from tomorrow and joins Casey Stoner at the Japanese track..
The Frenchman will not have the Marelli spec-ECU to test as it has not yet been fitted to the bike but team manager Davide Brivio says that mating process is not too far away.
We are still in the testing and development stage of the bike. We will continue working with the data we collected at the previous tests of Motegi, Barcelona and Aragon," said Brivio.
"The development has not stopped and this week we are going to try out various setups and continue to work on the electronics, chassis and engine packages in order to find further improvements in performance.
“We are still working with Mitsubishi on the bike, but analysis of the Magneti Marelli unit remains in progress. It is still not ready to be fitted to the prototype, but it will be in the near future.”
