CFMoto Aspar wants to retain its Moto3 title in 2025 and has signed Moto3 veteran, Dennis Foggia, to lead their team.
In the last two seasons, Dennis Foggia has been competing in the Moto2 World Championship. However, after struggling in the intermediate class the Italian has made the decision to step back to Moto3.
Foggia will ride for the CFMoto Aspar Racing Team in 2025 as the new partnership searches for a Moto3 title.
The 23-year-old is a Moto3 veteran after completing 92 Moto3 races, winning 10 and standing on 13 further podiums. Foggia's most successful spell in the lightweight class came with Leopard Racing on a Honda in 2021 and 2022 when he finished second and third in the Moto3 World Championship.
“It has been a first test full of new things: the tyres, the bike, the team… I didn’t know what to expect," Foggia explained.
"Because if the leap from Moto3 to Moto2 is difficult, it is much more difficult from Moto2 to Moto3.
"Today we have improved a second and a half after trying many things and riding mainly with used tyres. We have a good base, but the important thing for me was to adapt to the return to Moto3.
"This is not my favourite track, but we have been able to make the most of these days. I don't feel like I'm close to the limit yet, but I'm going into the winter break relaxed and looking forward to the Portimao test."
