Former Moto2 World Champion and MotoGP race winner Toni Elias will replace Claudio Corti on the Forward Yamaha for the rest of the season.
The Spaniard, who has a hate/hate relationship with Bridgestone tyres, has had one ride this year when he stood in for Karel Abraham but will now finish the season alongside Loris Baz.
"I can’t be happier to be back racing in MotoGP. This year I was already on track at Indianapolis but only for one race, with Forward I get the chance to finish the season. I wish to thank Giovanni and the whole team for this great opportunity. The goal is to work hard and enjoy the ride: the results will come. I am very motivated and enthusiastic,” said Elias.
