After three years, Enea Bastianini will return to Termas de Rio Honda for this weekend's Argentine Grand Prix.
This weekend's Argentine Grand Prix will be Enea Bastianini's first race weekend in South America since 2022.
The Italian rider was not at Termas de Rio Hondo in 2023 due to the shoulder injury he sustained in the opening round of the season.
Bastianini has not stood on the podium in the Argentine Grand Prix, and his best result in a MotoGP race in South America was a tenth place finish in 2022.
This year Bastianini will experience the Argentinian circuit on his KTM RC16 and is hoping for a positive weekend.
Bastianini opened his 2025 season in Thailand with an 18th place in the Sprint Race and a ninth place finish in the Grand Prix.
"I am ready for the Argentina Grand Prix, it will feel nice to return to Termas, for the first time since 2022 as far as I am concerned," Bastianini said.
"We made a really good step in Thailand, with a great moment for us on Sunday in the race. It was really important for everyone in the team to get this result, because it means we are improving!
"Of course I have not ridden in Argentina for a while, but I know the track well and I think that I can be competitive.
"Friday will probably be a bit difficult as we will need to figure out how the bike behaves on this track, but once we have the feeling, we will be able to improve, and hopefully have another good weekend!"
