Enea Bastianini 'will take his revenge' at the Grand Prix of the Americas

Gold & Goose

After a disappointing Argentine Grand Prix, Enea Bastianini is searching for positivity in America.

Enea Bastianini has found success at the Circuit of the Americas in the past, but it could be a different story this season.

The Italian won the 2022 Grand Prix of the Americas when he was riding for the Gresini Racing Team. However, since then his best result at the circuit was a third-place finish in 2024.

Since then Bastianini has left the Ducati family and is now competing for the Red Bull KTM Tech3 squad. However, the start of his 2025 season with the Austrian manufacturer has not gone how he expected.

Bastianini finished ninth in Thailand and failed to score any points during the Argentine Grand Prix. He is now 14th in the MotoGP World Championship and looks set for a difficult time in America.

"Argentina was unlucky for us," Bastianini stated.

"Which is a real shame because I had made a decent start and the end story could have been different.

"Anyway, we move on to go to Austin, one of my favourite tracks on the calendar. It will be interesting to see what will be my potential on the KTM in COTA.

"I have many good memories from Texas, and I love going to the USA. Austin is a great city, and there are always many fans and a good atmosphere, so I'm looking forward to it, and hopefully I can be competitive."

Red Bull KTM Tech3 Team Manager, Nicolas Goyon, believes that Bastianini will 'take his revenge' at COTA.

"Enea was frustrated after Argentina's race, as he was pushed out by another rider after recovering 7 positions in two laps, so we know that he will aim to take his revenge this week."

Bastianini's teammate, Maverick Vinales, is also a winner at the Circuit of the Americas. However, he is also expecting a more difficult weekend than his dominant showing in 2024 when he rode for Aprilia.
