ESPARGARO IN FOR KALLIO AT NEXT TWO MOTOGP ROUNDS

Former Blusens Aprilia rider Aleix Espargaro will stand in for Mika Kallio on the Pramac Ducati MotoGP bike while the Finn replaces Casey Stoner at the Misano and Indianapolis races.

Espargaro, whose brother Pol is a 125GP man, has ridden in just two rounds of this years 250cc World Championship but he has been forced to watch the rest from from the sidelines.

"I am very happy as this season has been very hard for me. We are beginning a project for next year to be back in the World Championship and this will be a good occasion to get back in touch with with my world," he said.

"This season I have ridden for a couple of races in the 250cc category in Assen and Sachsenring concluding in fourth and seventh position therefore I feel physical ready. It's like a dream come true to find my self all of a sudden in MotoGP. I want to thanks the Pramac Racing Team that is giving me this opportunity to compete at the top level of motorcycle road racing."
