Paul Bird has exclusively revealed to bikesportnews.com the bike Michael Laverty will ride at next week's second Sepang MotoGP test.
The machine, which has been designed and built by GPMS, is already in a crate heading for Malaysia but Bird says expectations are not high for its first outing.
The Cumbrian chicken magnate reckons the next test will be to shakedown the Magneti Marelli spec-ECU and iron out any gremlins before Laverty then takes the bike to Jerez, where Bird is expecting more competitive results.
