The MotoE World Championship will add a new team to its entry list for 2024 after Forward Racing confirmed plans to add the electric series to its grand prix roster.
A mainstay of the grand prix paddock, Forward Racing - which has previously also competed in MotoGP - currently races in Moto2 using its own branded chassis that it previously developed in conjunction with MV Agusta.
For 2024, the Swiss outfit will expand into MotoE as the series increases its entry list to feature ten teams and 20 bikes for the first time.
While Forward Racing is a new entry outright, the 2024 MotoE World Championship will also feature a new entry from MT Helmets-MSi, which takes over the grid slots previously occupied Pons Racing, the Spanish team having withdrawn in the wake of its 2023 title win with Mattia Casadei.
There will also be a presence from new American entry Trackhouse Racing, which will take on RNF Racing鈥檚 MotoE operation having already assumed ownership of its satellite Aprilia MotoGP entries.
Though the official FIM MotoE entry list for 2024 is yet to be released, speculative compilations also feature an entry from Aruba.it, which looks set to become the title of Pramac MotoE鈥檚 effort too.
