Two-time MotoGP Champion, Francesco Bagnaia, has named his closest competitors for the Thai Grand Prix.
The 2025 MotoGP season is a big year for Francesco Bagnaia as his sights are set on regaining the title.
This weekend's season opener will be crucial for the Italian as he wants to start the year in the right way. After a busy pre-season with a lot of testing Bagnaia is 'happy to have tested everything' that he will be using throughout the year.
"I am feeling good, it is just strange that we are starting here," Bagnaia told MotoGP.com.
"It was a busy winter season, we had a lot of work to do during the test, and it was not easy. But I am very happy to have tested everything that we are taking into the season."
The 2025 season is expected to be a fight between multiple manufacturers and riders. Ahead of the Thai Grand Prix, the two-time MotoGP World Champion has named his three closest challengers for this weekend.
"I know that our bikes give us the possibility to win the first race, but let's see," Bagnaia explained.
"You never know, and I saw that Aprilia was very strong with [Marco] Bezzecchi in the test, as well as KTM and Pedro Acosta.
"We have to be ready, we have to be prepared, I think that the competition will be higher than ever. Marc [Marquez] is super in shape so let's see."
