Hayden 'frustration' over lack of progress

Ducati's Nicky Hayden continues to be frustrated with a lack of progress within his MotoGP team but it is shared by the whole squad as nothing they seem to do helps their problems with understeer and corner exit.

While the American is still riding pretty-much the same bike he had the Sepang test, team-mate Andrea Dovizioso has been handed a new chassis and engine but the pair are still racing for eighth place - sometimes behind class rookie and satellite Yamaha rider Bradley Smith.

"What's frustrating for us is that bike that Dovi's riding is the bike they have been developing since it was first on track at Sepang and really we haven't found a step forward for it. I guess it's tough," said Hayden, speaking at Brno.

"My bike has stayed the same, basically, and we're still running a very similar pace. I would need to try Dovi's bike to give an honest answer and I hope to try it soon."
