Ducati's Nicky Hayden will try to catch up on the test time he missed earlier this year due to injury when he arrives at Mugello tomorrow to join the works test team for two days.

Franco Battaini is already at the Italian track, trying out some alterations to the GP12 and Hayden will start lapping tomorrow. "This will give the American the opportunity to carry out setup tests that he wasn’t able to complete prior to the start of the 2012 season. He’ll join official test rider Franco Battaini, who is already on track today as he continues his development work on the GP12," said a team spokesman.
