Kawasaki MotoGP rider John Hopkins has said a resounding no to rumours of a switch to the AMA Superbike Championship should his premier class ride disappear.
Hopkins could be left out of a job if Kawasaki continue their plans to either pull of out MotoGP completely or reduce their budget to one rider or and run a satellite team via Jorge Martinez.
Talking to our American colleagues at roadracingworld.com, Hopkins said: "No. Definitely not! I'll stay in the world series. If Kawasaki does pull out we'll do everything we can to stay in MotoGP racing."
