Stefan Bradl will participate in one last private MotoGP Test for Honda Racing Corporation in Sepang.

Honda has been busy over the last few weeks with private MotoGP Tests ahead of the 2025 season. However, the Japanese manufacturer is not done as they begin a final test in Sepang.

Recently, the new Honda Test Rider, Aleix Espargaro, has been hard at work in Europe. The Spaniard participated in the Barcelona Official MotoGP Test and at a private Test in Jerez with the factory riders.

Now it is the turn of long-time Honda MotoGP Test Rider, Stefan Bradl. The German rider has been sent to Sepang to conduct one final test in 2024. Bradl will ride on Wednesday and Thursday as he gets in his final laps on the RC213V of the year.

It is not official but it seems likely that Takaaki Nakagami will join Bradl at Sepang for the first time as a Honda Test Rider.

At the end of the 2024 season, Bradl announced he would no longer race in MotoGP. In the future, the 35-year-olds sole focus will be on the development of the RC213V rather than any wildcard appearances.

At this week's test in Sepang, Bradl will have to decide on the general direction that Honda will take in 2025. The German's insight will be crucial for Honda's decisions on what should be tested at the Official Sepang Test which begins on January 31st.

In 2024 the Repsol and LCR Honda Teams finished last in the MotoGP World Championship. However, the Japanese manufacturer is determined to return to the front again in the near future.

Next year Honda's racing lineup consists of Luca Marini and Joan Mir in the factory Honda team, as well as Johann Zarco and Somkiat Chantra in LCR Honda.

Their test team has been bolstered by the arrival of Aleix Espargaro and Takaaki Nakagami, who retired from full-time racing at the end of the 2024 season.
