Maximo Quiles completed his first Moto3 test last week with the CFMoto Aspar Racing Team at Jerez.
Before finishing his 2024 JuniorGP campaign Maximo Quiles got his first taste of his 2025 Moto3 machine.
The 16-year-old Spaniard will make his debut in the Moto3 World Championship in 2025 with the CFMoto Aspar Racing Team.
In 2024 Quiles finished fifth in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup and is third in the 2024 JuniorGP Championship.
Quiles was on track at Jerez with his new teammate and Moto3 veteran, Dennis Foggia, for his first Moto3 test.
Throughout his first test, the young Spaniard completed 126 laps and set a best lap time of 1:44.959, he was 0.813 seconds than his new teammate Foggia, who is returning to Moto3 after two years in Moto2.
“It has been a super positive test," Quiles said. "I have learned a lot with the CFMOTO, which is a new bike for me.
"I am very happy with the team; they work very well and we have improved a lot. I feel comfortable with the bike, although I still lack a bit of confidence.
"We have made a decent time with a tyre that was not the best for us. I feel that the adaptation is going well, and I am just looking forward to getting started.”
