Reigning and soon to be five-time MotoGP World Champion Marc Marquez has revealed he changed his way of thinking this season to be more like rival Andrea Dovizioso.
The Honda man said he studied the way Dovizioso goes about his business on and off the track, and has adopted ‘The Dovizioso Strategy’.
“When I am at home in winter time, I like to check deeply why we win the title, or why we lose, and last year I learn many things from one rider - Dovizioso,” said Marquez.
“I learn how to manage situations. He is able to be focused only on his garage and forget about the rest. This makes a little bit easier the approach of the racing and the way to manage the race weekend. He is so good there, so I analyse really deep and try to copy this in 2018.”
