Red Bull KTM Tech3 rider, Jacob Roulstone, has fractured his vertebrae in a training crash.
Moto3 rider, Jacob Roulstone, took to social media to share an update about his preseason. However, it was an update that many did not expect.
The Australian has suffered major setbacks ahead of the 2025 Moto3 World Championship.
Roulstone fractured and displaced his C3 vertebrae in his neck after a training crash at Jerez. The Red Bull KTM Tech3 rider is now in Barcelona and will undergo surgery within the next day or two.
"Last Friday I had a crash whilst training at Jerez which has left me with a fractured and displaced C3 vertebrae in my neck," Roulstone said on social media.
"After 3 nights in Jerez hospital, I was lucky enough to be medically flown to Barcelona yesterday and now in the best hands to have surgery in the next day or two.
"It’s a real shame to have this after such good preseason I was having, but now it is about recovering as fast and as safely as possible to be back on the bike.
"Cannot thank Xavi Arenas enough for being by my side and helping to arrange everything. As well as the medical staff involved."
Roulstone completed his rookie Moto3 campaign in 2024 and finished the year in 15th in the standings. The 19-year-olds best result was eighth place, which he claimed three times during his debut season in the World Championship.
