Britain's Danny Kent has finished the Jerez Moto3 test as he started it, setting the fastest lap of the day at the Spanish track and leaves nearly half a second's space between himself and the next quickest man Maverick Vinales.

Kent's 1'47.1-lap on the Red Bull Ajo KTM was enough to keep the Avantia rider at bay by four-tenths of a second while Alberto Moncayo was third fastest with Sandro Cortese and Hector Faubel rounding out the top five. Danny Webb put the Mahindra in 15th place on a 1'49.7
