Ducati's Jorge Lorenzo could miss the upcoming Buriram MotoGP round after a visit to hospital showed his injured foot is still considerably swollen following the turn-one crash that ended his Aragon challenge.
Lorenzo fired a broadside at Marc Marquez after the race saying it was all the Repsol Honda man's fault even though there was no evidence of any contact whatsoever between the two Spaniards. Lorenzo later revealed on Twitter that Marquez had called him to see how he was.
The former world champion dislocated a toe and broke a metatarsal in the crash, and had to be stretchered away from the scene after initially getting up and hobbling towards the barriers.
Although Lorenzo didn't talk with race director Mike Webb about the incident, he said he intends to bring it up at the Safety Commission meeting in Thailand should be attend.
