Sam Lowes options in Moto2 for the 2014 season have narrowed this afternoon after Marcel Schrotter signed a deal to join Danny Kent in the Tech3 team.

Lowes had been in talks with the Herve Poncharal team but he also has a deal in place to move into World Superbikes with his current Yacknich Yamaha Supersport team, with whom the Derby rider should win the world title at Magny-cours.

Lowes is believed to have two other Moto2 options on the table but will need to make a decision quickly.
