Last season's championship runner-up Franky Morbidelli has been narrowly voted the BSN MotoGP Rider of the Tear by readers.
The Italian Petronas Yamaha rider took 35.31 per cent of the vote to beat this year's champion Joan Mir to top spot. Suzuki's Mir bagged 31.64 per cent of the ballot with Portugese rider Miguel Oliviera in third.
Pramac Ducati's Jack Miller took fourth place with 7.06 per cent while Valentino Rossi was fifth with only 2.54 per cent.
