Aron Canet will start from the back of the front row as he qualified in third place. The Spaniard and the Fantic Racing Lino Sonego missed out on a pole position lap time in the latter moments.

Albert Arenas was the fastest rider on Saturday afternoon in Free Practice Two and carried that speed into Qualifying. The Spaniard will start the Qatar Grand Prix from the head of the second row in fourth.

Moto2 rookie Daniel Holgado continued to impress during qualifying. The Spaniard put his CFMOTO Aspar machine into fifth place on the grid.

Zonta van den Goorbergh will start the Qatar Moto2 Grand Prix from sixth place on the grid. The Dutch rider has had a solid weekend and looks strong ahead of Sunday's race.

Red Bull KTM Ajo rider Deniz Oncu will start from the front of the third row in seventh place.

The second Boscoscuro rider in the top ten was Filip Salac, who put his ELF Marc VDS Racing Team machine into eighth on the grid.

Barry Baltus did set a lap time that would have put him higher than ninth on the grid. However, the Belgian rider was impacted by yellow flags at the final corner.

Rounding out the top ten was the OnlyFans American Racing Team rider of Marcos Ramirez.
