Moto3 Qatar, Qualifying Results | Ryusei Yamanaka secured his first pole position

For the first time in his Grand Prix career, Ryusei Yamanaka will start from pole position.

Ryusei Yamanaka was able to claim his first ever Grand Prix pole position at the Qatar Grand Prix. The Japanese rider avoided all of the chaos in the Moto3 Qualifying session and snatched pole.

After standing on the podium at the Circuit of the Americas, Joel Kelso will start from the front row. The Australian rider was able to qualify in second place on the grid at the Lusail International Circuit.

The Moto3 World Championship leader, Jose Antonio Rueda, rounded out the front row. The Spaniard qualified in third place on the grid for the Red Bull KTM Ajo squad.

The top Honda on the grid is the Rivacold Snipers Team rider Riccardo Rossi. The Italian rider will start the Moto3 Grand Prix from fourth place on the grid.

Angel Piqueras will be in the podium fight on Sunday but was only able to manage a fifth-place qualifying position on Saturday.

The second Red Bull KTM Ajo rider of Alvaro Carpe, also managed to qualify in the top ten. The Spaniard qualified in sixth place but may get a penalty after some shenanigans at the end of the session.

The Leopard Racing squad qualified in seventh and eighth place on the grid for the Qatar Grand Prix. Adrian Fernandez will head the third row, with David Almansa starting alongside him.

Guido Pini was able to qualify at the rear of the third row in ninth place for the Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP team.

Completing the top ten on the grid was Nicola Carraro and the Rivacold Snipers Team.
