Britain’s Cal Crutchlow will undergo an MRI scan today after feeling an uncomfortable ‘snap’ in his shoulder during yesterday’s second Aragon MotoGP.
The LCR Honda man was in between turn three and four on lap six when he felt the snap but was able to battle through as adrenaline took over.
“Unfortunately, on about lap six, when I was changing direction from turn three to turn four, I felt a snap in my right shoulder. So, we’re pretty concerned about that,” said Crutchlow.
“I don’t really know at the moment, but it seems when I was pulling the handlebar I felt a really big snap in my shoulder.
“So, I slowed down for a few laps because I had a lot of pain. Then it went away because the adrenaline and I was battling a little bit.
“But now after the race it’s very, very sore. So I’ll go for an MRI scan.”
