MotoGP Aragon: 'I know I can be fast' states Dixon

Britain's Jake Dixon silenced his critics with a race-leading display of pace at the Le Mans MotoGP round and says he has put the disappointment of crashing out of the lead behind him.

Dixon passed Sam Lowes and opened up a gap on his countryman and the rest of the Moto2 pack but went down with a handful of laps left.

"Despite what happened in France, I know I can be fast and I’m looking at being that fast at the final five races of this year," said Dixon.

"I’ve put the result behind me and we focus on taking the positives with us to Aragón this weekend; I was leading the race and we know we have a good pace.

"We’ll definitely be back stronger this weekend and I’m looking forward to seeing what we can do.

"We’ve seen previously this season that doing two races in a row at the same circuit is positive for us as I’m able to find another step with that extra experience, so I hope we can repeat this feeling in MotorLand Aragon."
