Sterilgarda Husqvarna Max’s John McPhee arrives at his second Moto3 home race of 2022 ready for the Aragon GP.
With the Scot resident in Andorra for the majority of the year, Motorland Aragon is a relatively local circuit for McPhee and one that has garnered success in the past. Just missing the podium in 2019 and 2020, with fourth and fifth respectively, last year saw him step up to the intermediate class with a one-off Moto2 ride on the Petronas Sprint Kalex around the challenging 5km layout.
“I’ve always enjoyed Aragon circuit and also been very strong there in the past,” McPhee reflected of his two recent top fives. “It’s almost like a second home race for me, with living in Andorra.
"It’s our last European race for a while and would be great to up our Sunday game before heading overseas.”
