Factory Yamaha's Jorge Lorenzo goes into this weekend's Assen MotoGP round feeling confident and focused, hoping to take a fifth win of the season and increase his points tally over reigning champion Casey Stoner.
The Spaniard is already a race win in front of the Australian and has taken the last three race wins and hasn't been off the podium whereas Stoner, his only realistic challenger, had to settle for fourth at Barcelona.
“Assen and Brno are the tracks I think I have won at the most. I feel very strong there and we are very focused this season so I’m confident. We haven’t made so many mistakes and are working well towards the Championship title. Our target remains to be on the podium each race and if possible take a win. Assen is good for our bike and it suits my riding style so let’s see what happens," he said.
