Andrea Iannone isn't hanging his hat on a new MotoGP offer from Ecstar Suzuki, saying he has other irons in the fire but wants to remain where he is.
Team-mate Alex Rins has already stated he has been made an offer he can't refuse for 2019-2020 but boss Davide Brivio is less keen to commit to Iannone as he is also looking at trying to hook Jorge Lorenzo who is clearly unhappy at Ducati.
"For sure we discuss about my future and also the future of Suzuki, but I don't talk only with Suzuki. I have other proposals, but always the priority is continue with this team," said Iannone.
"The group is fantastic, also with the Japanese people I have a really good feeling, we started the construction of a really good situation. I have a big challenge with me also, I want to arrive on the top with Suzuki because I came here for this."
