MotoGP Austin: Marquez expecting to get faster

Repsol Honda's Marc Marquez is expecting to get faster during today's final free practice and qualifying sessions at the Austin MotoGP round and match the test times he set here in March.

The Spaniard was quickest in the warmer second practice session yesterday but said the circuit was still lacking grip and likened it to the first day of the test they shared with Yamaha when the circuit was still very green.

"I feel more or less like the first day when we did the test. The grip was not so good but then coming better but it was the same as first practice had no grid but second practice a little bit better," said Marquez, speaking to bikesportnews.com last night at Austin.

"Tomorrow it will be better and the times will be much faster as the grip is getting better and the track warmer. In this circuit I feel so good from the beginning so we need to enjoy it when you feel like that on the bike. Sure, we are pushing at the limit but I have a good feeling and that most important."
