Red Bull KTM Tech3's Deniz Oncu was handed a two-race ban by MotoGP bosses for causing carnage in the re-started Moto3 race at Austin yesterday.

Stewards confirmed Oncu was found to have caused a crash by swerving into the line of another rider – in this case Jeremy Alcoba – on COTA’s back straight and Oncu will miss the next two rounds at Misano and in Portimao.

Red Bull KTM Tech3 have not appealed the sanction imposed on Oncu and all riders caught up in the crash were uninjured.
