Bosses at the Red Bull Ring today installed new barriers at the site of last Sunday’s 200mph MotoGP crash.
Workers have put in concrete-based fencing at turn three in order to prevent a repetition of what happened last weekends.
Should an errant bike be turned into an unguided missile as Franco Morbidelli’s was, then the new fencing will catch it before it travels across the track on the exit of turn three.
