Rumours currently hurtling around the Brno MotoGP paddock state that Casey Stoner has split with the Marlboro Ducati team and the three-race withdrawal on medical grounds may be a smokescreen for the rift.

Stoner has been sidelined for this weekend, and a further two rounds, so he can get his medical situation sorted out but scuttlebutt of the paddock reckons there has been some kind of bust-up about his training regime over the season so far.
