MotoGP Brno: New engine 'nothing special' for Dovizioso

Andrea Dovizioso revealed this evening that a new engine Ducati has been using at this weekend's Brno MotoGP round has made only small differences to the amount of wheelspin he can use to exit corners.

The Italian is still suffering from suspension pump as he tries to accelerate hard but the upgraded motor is allowing him to slide the GP13 more as he exits the turn before the traction control kicks in and starts the affect the shock.

"I can't say really the difference. It was very small when we tried, it feel different but nothing special. I think we are able to spin a little bit more," said Dovizioso, speaking at Brno.

"The quantity of the spin before was very small. You feel the traction control working to reduce a little bit but when the spin become big it start pumping. Now we are able to gave more quantity of the spin. A small difference but in that point a little bit better if you need to slide."
