Fiat Yamaha's Jorge Lorenzo, in his special footballists livery, has set the quickest lap in this morning's second MotoGP free practice, knocking team-mate and world champion Valentino Rossi off the top spot with his penultimate lap.
And as Lorenzo went to the top of the timesheets as the only man under the 1'42 barrier with his 1'41.899 lap, Repsol Honda's Andrea Dovizioso pushed The Doctor down one further place, circulating in 1'42.573, some half a second off the Spaniard's pace.
Sensationally, Marlboro Ducati's Casey Stoner could only manage seventh fastest with a 1'43.496 and is only a tenth of a second quicker than Britain's James Toseland on the Monster Yamaha.
