Monster Yamaha's James Toseland had vowed to give it his all at this weekend's Donington MotoGP round in order to make up for his disappoinment after crashing out on lap one last year.
The former World Superbike Champion crashed going into the first corner in 2008 but got off the floor, riding around with his foot on the exhaust after his peg was sheared off in the accident.
"I'm now looking forward to my home race at Donington Park. Another top ten (at the Sachsenring) has given me a bit of a boost. I'll be looking to make amends for the disappointment of last year at the British GP and giving it my all for my home crowd," said Toseland.
