Fiat Yamaha's Valentino Rossi has increased his lead in the MotoGP World Championship this afternoon by winning the Sachsenring race by less than a tenth of a second from team-mate Jorge Lorenzo.
The pair were separated by 0.099s as they crossed the line after 30 laps in Germany. Repsol Honda's Dani Pedrosa took the final step on the podium with Marlboro Ducati's Casey Stoner in fourth.
