Britain's Danny Kent left the Indianapolis MotoGP round full of disappointment after a strong performance in Moto2 warm-up came to nought in the race as chatter and a mystery pain conspired against him.
The youngster eventually crossed the line in 23rd place but couldn't hide his disappointment after expecting a much better place when he saw the chequered flag.
“It was a very tough race and obviously not what we expected. I had high hopes of a good result after a strong warm-up but after a few laps I started to have a chatter issue and that made it difficult," said kent.
"And out of the blue I got a sharp pain in my left arm and I got slower and slower. I am really disappointed but we don’t have to wait long to put things right and I am confident I can bounce back in Brno next weekend.”
