MOTOGP INDY: PEDROSA BLITZES THE PACK IN SECOND PRACTICE

Repsol Honda's Dani Pedrosa has kept himself at the top of the timesheets in this afternoon's second MotoGP free practice session at Indianapolis, putting his fastest lap in with just one minute to go.
The Spaniard, who dominated yesterday's wet first session, is a second faster than nearest Rival Jorge Lorenzo on the Fiat Yamaha who lapped in 1'41.286 in comparison to Pedrosa's 1'41.286.
Outgoing Gresini Honda man Alex De Angelis was third fastest on a 1'41.324 with Valentino Rossi fourth only fractions of a second slower. Monster Yamaha's Colin Edwards was bumped out of the top four by De Angelis' late lap.
Pedrosa's team-mate Andrea Dovizioso is sixth quickest, some 1.5s slower than the poleman's pace with the  Marlboro Ducati of Nicky Hayden seventh and Nico Canepa, on the Pramac Ducati in eighth.
Britain's James Toseland couldn't replicate his wet-weather performance and finished the session in 16th place, with only Gabor Talmasci behind him on the timesheet.
