Reigning MotoGP World Champion Marc Marquez will take no further part in this weekend’s action at Jerez.
The injured Repsol Honda man did an outlap in qualifying one just six days after breaking his arm but had decided against racing.
“We won’t take anymore risks. Marc won’t race tomorrow,” said team boss Alberto Puig.
It is the first time Marquez has missed a race since Sepang in 2011.
