Monster Yamaha's James Toseland was at the top of the timesheets as lunchtime ticked round at the Jerez MotoGP tests despite the day starting wet and windy. A few riders, including Valentino Rossi have elected to stay in the dry as they only have a handful of Bridgestone wets to play with.
According to the stout chaps at motogpmatters.com, the track is slowly drying but it is still too damp for slicks, not wet enough for fuly-treaded tyres and there are no intermediates this season. Hayate's Marco Melandri was at the top of the timesheets for about half an hour this morning.
