MOTOGP JEREZ TESTS: A LONG WAY TO GO, SAYS REDDING

Blusens Aprilia rider Scott Redding has said that although he is happy with his performance over the past three days of testing at Jerez, he still has a long way to go to make it perfect.

The 2008 British 125GP winner was consistently in the top ten on all three days and did his quickest time yesterday but the teenager was only a tenth slower than that in today's sessions.

"Overall I'm happy with the performance although there is still a long way to go. We have worked hard on the engine of the Aprilia RSA, which is quite difficult to get to where I want it," said Redding.

"I have been in the top ten in all the sessions and that is very important. We still have some things to be improved to be more competitive in Qatar and I hope we continue to advance, but both the team and I have to adapt to the official Aprilia, which is new for everyone, and I am sure that the results will come."
