MotoGP Jerez: Tyre choice a worry for Rossi

Factory Yamaha's Valentino Rossi has expressed concern over his tyre choice and potential race pace at the Jerez MotoGP round, while also saying he is still suffered from front-end push on the YZR-M1.

The Doctor ended the second free practice session in fourth place and only three-tenths off the pace of fastest man and team-mate Jorge Lorenzo but it is the amount of grip offered by the harder compound Bridgestone.

"My lap time is not so bad but I am more worried about the rhythm. I was worried about the hard tyre, I started with it in the afternoon, but it doesn't have enough grip on the very edge," said Rossi, speaking at Jerez.

"I am also quite worried if I have to race with the soft as with this temperature it become difficult for 27 lap so we have to decide also this with the other practices but we have to try to start in the top five."
