Inde GasGas Aspar’s Jake Dixon returns to Le Mans in France hoping to replicate the Moto2 leading pace he showcased last season.
Having led throughout the entirety of Jerez free practice last time out, Dixon endured a more challenging qualifying and race day in Andalucia, which resulted in his second DNF in a row.
Strong previous pedigree at the Bugatti Circuit, however, could see the Brit hit the ground running as Moto2 heads to the legendary home of the 24 hour battles, with Dixon aiming to build on his impressive pace from the start of the 2022 season.
"The Le Mans circuit is usually good for me,’ Dixon said ahead of round seven.
“I led a race there for the first time. Also, it's close to home and it seems we will have good weather this weekend, so I think it can be a good Grand Prix for us.”
